Christian "Gracie" Beri, 16, of Charleston, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at her residence.   She was born in Elberton, Georgia, and had spent the last four years in Bradley County.  She attended God's House of Praise; she was a prayer warrior and loved praying for people and taught people compassion.   Gracie was a "daddy's girl."

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kyson Beri; and maternal grandparents, Dale and Carol Clarke.

She is survived by her parents, Patrick Gordon Beri and Angela Christine Clarke Beri of Charleston; two sisters, Brittany Sparry and Melinda Strong of Cleveland; three brothers, Patrick Beri, Jr., of Athens, Georgia, Jordan Beri and Dalton Beri of Cleveland; grandparents, Louis and Betty Beri of Elberton, Georgia, and Alvin and Maxine Swan of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews and extended family members also survive.

A celebration of her life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jordan Beri officiating.  Interment will follow in Calhoun Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes to conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
