Lenord “Buck” Wagner, age 89, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 30, 2025 with his family by his side. Buck was a heavy equipment operator and worked construction for many years and was known for his honesty and integrity. He was a wonderful father and a great husband and he will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
Buck is preceded in death by his parents; Ike and Annie Grissom Wagner, brothers; Arnold and James Wagner, sisters; Kathleen Johnson, Willie Ruth Young and Margaret Leamon.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years; Clara Wagner, two sons; Lynn (June) Wagner and Allen (Paula) Wagner, sister; Ollie Hicks, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial visitation on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4-6PM at Poole Funeral Home.
