Christian J. Rodriguez

It is with great sadness that the family of Christian Jesse Pasquine announces his passing on Sunday February 23, 2025, at a hospital in New Britain, Connecticut, as a result of injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident a few months prior. He was born May 1, 2002, in Bridgeport Connecticut, the son of Jermaine Mazyck and Jayme Pasquine. Christian was a graduate of Penobscot Job Corps, class of 2020, where he also earned his welding certificate.
Christian worked several different jobs during his life, most of which were in the construction field. Christian loved being outside and enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, ATVs, hiking, biking, and swimming. He was a strong and independent man with an artistic soul. He was an excellent artist and enjoyed all types of music. He had a great affection for animals and his cat Matt remains living with his family. His dog Athena passed away in 2020 but remained in Christians heart.
Christian is survived by his parents, Jermaine Mazyck, and Jayme Pasquine and her fiance Billy Brannen, his sisters Caitlyn Pasquine, and Breonna Goncalves, and his brothers Coran Mazyck, ONaji Mazyck, and Mason Mazyck. He leaves paternal grandparents, Alphonza and Kathleen Mazyck. He is also survived by his uncle Tavares Mazyck, and his aunt and uncle, Rey and Jessica Chiong, and their children Bridgette, Hunter, and Keara. He was predeceased by his uncle, Peter Pasquine III, and his maternal grandparents Peter and Sally Pasquine Jr.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Keenan Funeral Home in North Branford, Connecticut. A Celebration of Life will be held for Christian in Woodbridge, Connecticut at his aunts home on March 15, 2025, from 2pm-6pm. A burial service will take place in a later date (to be announced) in Millinocket, Maine when Christian will be laid to rest alongside his family.
