Christian Daniel Soper

Christian Daniel Soper went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 20, 2025, with his family lovingly by his side.
Christian was a proud graduate of Magnolia High School. Christian's 2012 graduating class was the centennial class of MHS. Christian had a vibrant spirit and a wide range of passions. Christian enjoyed music, playing drums, and growing a band with his friends. They practiced in his garage where the entire neighborhood was also able to listen to them grow as musicians. As a result, they were able to produce some original songs. He also played other percussion instruments as well and won many awards. Christian loved animals and would advocate and care for them regularly. Christian loved sports such as football, basketball, and soccer. He loved playing on the Magnolia H.S. varsity soccer team with his brother, as they equally passed and assisted each other in scoring numerous goals. He played club soccer for many years as well. Christian enjoyed exploring outside with his brother, friends, and family. He loved traveling and going on trips with his family. He was a member of the Sigma Pi fraternity at UTSA. Christian was a talented artist. Christian enjoyed freelance geology, a reflection of his curiosity and love for the natural world. Christian's faith and community brought him comfort and purpose. He was a true friend with a genuinely sweet soul.
Christian was born with a heart full of compassion and deep love for the people around him. Above all else, he cherished his family. Christian was loved by his large family and many friends. Christian was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend. Christian was truly a blessing and inspiration to all who knew him. Christian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred Lowe, Doug Soper, Roy Jones, and Janet Jones. Christian is survived by his father and stepmom, Tom and Crystal Soper; his mother, Vicki Jones; his brother and sister-in-law, Joshua and Carly Soper; and his beloved nephew, Kellan Soper; his grandmother, Eileen Lowe and his MeeMee, Sandy Jones, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Christian's life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and the unshakable bonds of family and friendship. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
