Robert Marlowe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McNutt Funeral Home - Conroe on Dec. 9, 2025.
Robert "Bob" Curtiss Marlowe, 63, of The Woodlands, Texas, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 7, 2025.
Bob was born on June 24, 1962, in Rockledge, Florida, to Gilbert Daniel Marlowe Jr. and Imogene Martin Marlowe. He grew up in Pasadena, Texas (Sagemont) where his father worked in the NASA program. Bob graduated from Dobie High School in 1980 before attending The University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Tejas club, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1984. In 1989, he became a Certified Public Accountant - a testament to his diligence, intellect, and dedication to his work.
Bob's devotion to hard work started at an young age where in high school he worked in the Sears financial department. His professional life included meaningful years at Arthur Andersen, Pogo Producing Company (VP of Accounting), and went on to found and establish Revo Financial with his partner Jon Nettles. Through each role, he was known for his integrity, work ethic, and commitment to excellence.
But Bob's greatest joy and calling were found in his faith, his family, and his service to others. He met and married the love of his life, Heidi Jane Marlowe, and together they shared 33 wonderful years of marriage marked by laughter, faith, and love. Bob was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father to Emily Kathleen Russell and Caroline Elizabeth Marlowe, and a joyful "Baba" to his grandchildren, Soren and Rowan Russell. His family was the center of his heart, and his love for them was evident in every word and every action.
A faithful follower of Jesus Christ, Bob lived his life with a servant's heart. He was deeply involved in The Woodlands Church, where he was affectionately known as "the high five guy" in the Children's Ministry - greeting each child with enthusiasm and joy for over 30 years. He also donated his time as a financial counselor and was a member of the Board of Directors at Inspiration Ranch, where he poured his gifts of wisdom and compassion into helping others thrive.
Bob loved many things - Texas Longhorn football, traveling with his wife, his pastor's prayer group, his Bible study buddies, and a good conversation (always with a quick one-liner ready). But above all, he loved people. He never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. His friends and family describe him as hardworking, committed, faithful, deeply caring, and full of joy - the best son, brother, husband, father, Baba, and mentor anyone could have.
Bob is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Daniel Marlowe Jr. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Imogene Martin Marlowe; brother, Gilbert Daniel Marlowe III; wife, Heidi Jane Marlowe; daughters, Emily Kathleen Russell and Caroline Elizabeth Marlowe; son-in-law, Taylor Russell; grandchildren, Soren Russell and Rowan Russell; And numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bob's legacy is one of faith, love, humor, and steadfast devotion. His light continues to shine through the countless lives he touched, and his example will remain a guiding force for all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Inspiration Ranch, an organization that held a special place in Bob's heart.

Yesterday

To Heidi and the family,
Serving with Bob on the Board of Inspiration Ranch was one of the most rewarding and spiritual events in my life. Bob was a follower of Jesus Christ and he was not ashamed to let anyone know. His commitment and passion for the Ranch and the Special Child that it serves, was greatly appreciated by all of his fellow Board members, Staff and volunteers.
We know that he is in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
May you and the family be comforted by knowing that he is with our Savior Jesus Christ.
