Christian R. Stech Sr.

On May 25, 2024, Christian Stech, age 83 of Collingswood, formerly of Turnersville passed away. Born and raised in Camden, he was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked for ARCO then Taylor Oil. Christian was a drummer all his life. He started playing in elementary school and he would entertain the neighborhood with his drum solos -whether they wanted to hear it or not. Later in life, he played in several string bands including the Gloucester City String Band, The Old Timers and the Garden State String Band.
Christian is lovingly survived by his children, Christian Stech Jr., Michele Marigliano (Rocky Van Horn), Deborah Ann Debella (John), and Theresa Darji (Trushant); his grandchildren, Kaylyn, Charles, Ashley,, Holly, Matthew, Brenden, Korina, Abigail, and Arianna; his great grandson, Oliver; his siblings, Earl Stech, Donald, Stech, Diana Ferguson and Leon Stech; his stepbrothers, Joe Waltz and Gary Waltz; numerous nieces and nephews and his partner, Carol Kates. He was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Ruggieri.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Friday, May 31st at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Avenue and Kings Highway, Haddon Heights where His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held privately on a separate day.
