Christie Holland Liles

Christie Liles, age 53, of Carthage, Texas, passed away Monday morning, March 23, 2026, at her home in Carthage. Christie Gene Holland was born on October 13, 1972, in Carthage to Donny and Debra Sue Mayo Holland. She attended Carthage schools and graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1991. Christie earned her LVN certificate at Panola College in 2001. She worked at local nursing homes and the hospital in Carthage. Christie married Jesse Franklin Liles on October 19, 2001, at Murvaul Methodist Church. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her precious grandchildren, who did no wrong in her eyes. Christie was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Sue Holland.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Donny Holland and wife Brenda; husband, Jesse Liles; son, James Liles and wife Kayla; and brother, Tim Holland and wife Shannon.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Gough officiating. Interment will follow at Waldrop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 a.m. on Friday prior to the funeral.
