Christopher Michael Wright, 47, of Normangee, Texas, passed away October 29, 2025. Chris was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, to Michael James and Paula Marie Wright on October 22, 1978. Growing up, Chris loved fixing things. He would often ask family members if they had any old electronics that he could work on. He loved music and taught himself to play the guitar and piano. Not only could he fix just about anything, but he was also very talented at making beautiful things out of wood. He enjoyed restoring guitars and also built them. He was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, and friend.
Chris is survived by his Father, Michael James of Kansas City, KS, his sons, Caleb Wright and Evan Wright of Kansas City, KS. His sister, Stephanie Wright of Normangee, Texas; his aunts Ruthie Gilliland and Nora Wright of Kansas City, MO; his uncles Ken Wright of Wichita, KS, his uncles, Gary Wright and John Wright of Kansas City, KS; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews in Texas, Kansas, and Missouri.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Marie Wright; his aunt and uncle, Sue and Randy Collier; and his grandmother, Mattie Odam.
