It is with profound sadness that the family of Christina “Chris” Caserta announce her untimely passing on March 3, 2025.
Chris was a Ridley township resident, born and raised since 1961. She proudly graduated Ridley high school in 1979. She remained committed to her classmates and stayed in contact over the years with many from her neighborhood and school.
Chris believed in the servitude of others as a value that guided her life. She was a successful hairdresser of almost 50 years, and gave priority to those vulnerable in nursing and assisted living facilities. Chris’ energetic and vivacious personality brought light to everyone around her and her clients faithfully adored her.
Chris was an outstanding mother to Desiree. They were constantly in contact if they weren’t together, which was daily. Chris loved to visit the Jersey shore with her daughter’s family.
Chris was an exceptional grandmother (Nonna), to Giovanni. Both were delighted to take trips to various playgrounds, toy stores, and their favorite pizza shop, Italian Delite, in Broomall, PA. Their bond was unmatched. Chris had many social circles and enjoyed attending various church Bible studies and church groups.
Her intentional relationships made with everyone she met included a commitment to meaningful conversations and following up to support someone. She lived to serve other people and to demonstrate a Christ-like forgiveness that would disarm even the hardest of hearts. Chris attended Planet Fitness every day and prioritized daily physical fitness. Chris was a pillar of strength, beauty, wisdom, stability, and love. Her laugh was loud and often. Chris was a genuine supporter of all things police and military and was looking forward to making America healthy and great again.
Relatives and friends are invited to honor Chris’ life at her Viewing, Monday, March 10, 2025, 9:30 to 11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by her Funeral Service beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment private.
