Christina Ramona Jaramillo, a beloved member of the Grants community and cherished matriarch of her family, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, in Grants, NM. She was born on May 11, 1948, and dedicated much of her life to her career as a secretary at Grants High School and as a realtor, where she made lasting connections and positively impacted many lives.
Christina's life was marked by an unwavering commitment to her family. She will be deeply missed by her children, Eutimio "Tim" and his wife Teresa Jaramillo, and her grandson, Timothy Jaramillo. Christina held a special place in her heart for these loved ones and cherished the memories created during countless family vacations together.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Eutimio Jaramillo, who stood by her side throughout their life together. Christina also leaves behind the fond memories of her beloved daughters, Elisa and Jessica Jaramillo, as well as her grandson, Jeremy Jaramillo, who have all been an integral part of her life, leaving her with a legacy of love and warmth.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Christina's life and honor her memory. A Rosary will be held on March 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM, both taking place at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church located at 402 East High Street, Grants, NM. Following the Mass, Christina will be laid to rest at San Rafael Cemetery, with burial services to follow after Mass.
The impact Christina made through her work and the love she shared with her family will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure to know her. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
