Christina Lynn Plaisance

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christina Lynn Plaisance, who left this world on September 8, 2025, in Kiln, Mississippi. on February 18, 1974, in Homer, Louisiana, Christina touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication to caring for others.

Throughout her life, Christina worked diligently as a sitter for the elderly, showing compassion and commitment to those in need. In addition to her work, she faced challenging times, enduring periods of disability, yet she continued to exhibit strength and resilience. Her unwavering spirit and gentle nature were a source of comfort to so many.

Christina leaves behind her beloved children: Renee Lyons Sonnier (Kristie), Colby Sanchez, Tia Chapman, and Hailey Plaisance, who will carry on her legacy of love and compassion. She is also survived by her siblings: Mercy, Jessica, Tina, Sady, Scott, and Chad, who treasure the memories shared with their dear sister.

She reunites in eternal rest with her cherished parents, Gerald and Theresa Chapman, and her brothers, Brian and Gerald, who preceded her in death. Christina's spirit will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, as her life's work and loving nature continue to inspire those she has left behind.
