Christine Browning passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at UPMC-Western Maryland.

Born January 7, 1965, she was the daughter of Marjorie Becker and the late William Becker. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband: Slim Browning.

Christine was a graduate of Bishop Walsh high school and a graduate of ACM with an associate's degree. She worked for FSU where she had to medically retire in 2024. Christine was a loving wife, mom and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Christine is survived by her only daughter: Elizabeth Dolly (Eric); her stepchildren: Amanda Erichson and Ronald Browning JR; her grandchildren; Madison Grapes, Airen Welsh, Tristen Welsh and Talynne Thompson. She is also survived by her siblings: Billy Becker (Bonnie), Kim Krawczyk (Jim), Mary Devore (Rusty), Daniel Becker (Jeanne), Matthew Becker, Moria Bean (Jann), Andrew Becker, Josh Becker (Hannah); brother and sisters-in-law siblings Debbie Gordon, Steve Browning (Kelly), Lisa Doman (Chris), Krista Beeghly (Kent) and many nieces and nephews.

Christine and Slim will be interred at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap at a later date.

Her daughter would like to extend a Thank You to the Nurses in the ER at UPMC-Western Maryland for their care, support and compassion in Christine's final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to ALS research.
