Christine "Hill" Chapman

Christine Hill Chapman, 90, of Gastonia, passed away at her residence on September 17, 2025. She was born May 6, 1935, in Gaston County, to the late William Robert "Bob" Hill and Maggie Elizabeth Shires Hill.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Paul Chapman; sisters, Louise Branch, Gracie Martin, Ann Hensley; brothers, Doody Hill, Arthur Hill, and Preston Hill.

Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandchildren, sister and aunt. She was well loved and will be missed by all. She was a member of Sunset Forest Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Eugene Chapman, Billy Chapman, Donna Reid, Rhonda Pinheiro (Tommy); grandchildren, Vanessa, Dawayne, Danny, LaDonna, Paul, Mark (Kayla), Jonathon; great-grandchildren, Taolin, Brayden, Gus, Lasha, Anisha, Elizabeth, Mackenzie, Logan, Rylee, David, Tyler, Jayden, Hunter; great-great-grandchildren, Bryce and Paisley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Forest Baptist Church on Monday, September, 22, 2025.

Christine's funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Sunset Forest Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hicks and officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
