Christine D. Charzewski, 63, of Roosevelt, NJ passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, joining her parents in their eternal home. Christine was born in Brooklyn and raised her family in Monroe Twp, before moving to Roosevelt 3 years ago with her husband, son, and his wife.
Christine dedicated many years volunteering to the East Brunswick rescue squad and in 1982 served as the President. She worked as an Assistant Manager for Host Marriott’s travel division before starting her family. Most recently she was a waitress for the former Dayton Diner. She is a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Millstone.
Christine loved spending time with her family and grandson. She enjoyed annual Wildwood vacations with her family, visits to casinos, trips to wineries, going to see plays, and playing Bingo. She and her husband Raymond loved traveling to Lancaster PA and camping with their dear friends, the Rusnocks, at Ole Bull. In her downtime, she could be found watching General Hospital, Jeopardy, or reading a book.
She was predeceased recently by her parents James and Ethel (Elliott) Burke.
Surviving is her loving husband of 36 years, Raymond Charzewski, her son Corey (Krysten) Charzewski of Roosevelt, her daughter Kelsey Charzewski of Browns Mills, her beloved grandson Alexander James Charzewski; her brother James Burke (Christine) of Edison, her sisters Kathleen Burke of North Brunswick and Kerry Ann Ward (Bob) of Monroe Twp.; and several nieces and nephews. Her family will remember her as a nurturing soul, always ready with comforting words.
Her loved ones will forever admire her strength and courage throughout her health battles. Christine never let her diagnoses define her or keep her from devoting her time and energy to her family and friends.
