Christine Fuller Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Skinner Funeral Home - Eaton Rapids on Mar. 30, 2026.
Christine Sue Fuller, of Holt, Michigan, formerly of Lansing, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the age of 76.

Christine was born on August 25, 1949, in Lansing, Michigan, to Thomas Fuller and Anne Putman. She dedicated 30 years of service to St. Lawrence Hospital, working in the dietary department from 1971 until her retirement in 2001, a role she truly loved.

In 1980, Christine proudly competed in the Olympics for the Disabled in Holland, where she won several medals. She was also an active member of the Jane Thurston Handicappers Group, where she formed many lasting friendships over the years.

Christine had a creative spirit and found joy in making ceramics. She was deeply spiritual, and her faith played a central role in her life. She was a longtime member of Holy Cross and later Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

Known for her kindness and generosity, Christine was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her greatest joy came from her nieces and nephews, with whom she remained closely connected, never missing a birthday or special occasion.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Fuller, Anne (Ray) Rostorfer and her sister, Pamela Pope. She is survived by her sister, Debby (Patrick) McCaffery; her nieces and nephews, Tracy (Phillip) Platte, Anne McCaffery, Claire McCaffery, Philip McCaffery, Colin (Linda) McCaffery, Todd (Jessica) Pope, and Tim (Joyce) Pope; her special friend, Eileen Rudrik; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. The family will receive friends at the Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids Chapel, on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics in memory of Christine.
