Mary Fuller

Mary Lynn Knight Fuller, 86, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and dear friends.

Mary was born on September 21, 1939, in Ogden, Utah, to Samuel Tracy Knight and EuDora Kendell Knight. She was raised in West Warren alongside her two siblings, Don and Cathleen. Mary attended Weber High School and Utah State University.

On July 18, 1959, Mary married Rex Lewis Fuller. Together they built a life rooted in resilience, and devotion, raising five children-Scott, Sheldon, Shane ("Poncho"), Sterling, and Dixie Lynn-in the beautiful Huntsville Valley.

Mary's early years were shaped by her work on the family dairy farm in West Warren. From milking cows, hauling hay, hoeing beets and helping to preserve the harvest, Mary embodied the values of hard work. She carried that same devotion into her home, where she found joy in gardening, canning jellies, and preparing meals for her family. Mary especially loved camping and spending time outdoors in the mountains with her family.

Throughout her life, Mary faced profound hardships, particularly as she navigated health challenges within her family. Through it all, she remained a steadfast source of strength and resilience, and she was known for her spirited nature, and quick wit.

Mary dedicated 30 years of service to the Internal Revenue Service in Ogden, where she was respected for her strong work ethic and commitment. Alongside her husband, she was an active member of the American Legion, Huntsville Post 129, and gave countless hours through the American Legion Auxiliary. She was especially passionate about mentoring young women through the Girls State Program, helping instill a love of country, leadership, and civic

responsibility.

Mary is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rex; her parents, Samuel and EuDora; and her children Scott, Sheldon, Shane, and Dixie. She is survived by her son Sterling, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caregivers at Apple Assisted Living with a special thanks to Shay. Another special thanks to her niece, Sherrie and husband, Tom, for helping take care of her the last few years.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 2700 N. 5555 E., Eden, Utah, where Mary will be laid to rest beside her loved ones.
