She was preceded in death by her mother Thelma (Buttz) Weinzapfel.
As she was growing up many in her family called her "Kim" or "Kimmy". She loved her family and worked tirelessly to make sure they knew so.
She worked at Methodist Hospital for more than 40 years in the sterilization department. Her dedication and kindness made her an amazing coworker and friend.
She is survived by her loving husband Kevin A. Hoovler, daughter Jenna M. Hoovler, two sisters: Tracy Brown (Jeff Barber) and Rhonda Weinzapfel (Russell Smith), her father Thomas Weinzapfel, several grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as many extended family and friends.
Memorial services are 2pm on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Usher Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will begin following the memorial service and continue until 5pm.

Chris , was my supervisor for 19 years at Methodist Hospital .. I remember my interview with for a Logistics position, after the interview Chris told me the job is yours if want it ...We shared more than employee and supervisor relationship it became personal... Thank you Chris

Chris Hoovler and I worked together for many years in the OR area of Methodist Hospital. Chris was a Surgical Technologist in the OR and also in the OR Sterile Processing where we worked together. Chris had an extensive knowledge of OR instruments and equipment. She was an integral part of the OR medical team and her knowledge and work ethic surely had a positive impact on patient outcomes. I will never forget her sweet smile and I will always treasure her friendship. My deepest sympathy for family and friends. JoEllen Barr

My name is molly banks I have known Chris Hoover since 2004. When I first came to the department as a project coordinator she was very forthcoming with information. Always willing to teach she was Sweetheart and will be greatly missed.
