Christine Licht

Christine Licht entered into eternal life with God on July 12, 2022, following illness and hospitalization. She was born in 1958 in Detroit to Pascal and Marion Galan (Lovett) and was blessed to also have a stepfather, Ronald Lovett later in her life. She worked as a waitress, raised her son, Guy Christopher Reid with great joy in being a mom and homemaker. She married Bill Licht in 1997 and they built their marriage on a foundation of faith together in their home in Fowlerville. Christine was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and she delighted in worshiping the Lord and studying scripture as well as volunteering in the church office. She loved to laugh, she loved to be a part of community life and to make her home a place of welcome and caring. She will be greatly missed.
Christine is survived by her husband, Bill; brother, Dennis (Barbara); sister, Yvonne; nieces and nephews and cousin, Annette. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Guy, and a brother, Mark.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday July 20 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fowlerville. A simple reception will follow, offering a time of visitation and refreshment. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be designated to St. John's Lutheran Church.
