Christine M. Rodriguez (nee Hayes) passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 57 on November 1, 2021. Christine was born in Manhattan, NY on August 29, 1964, to Mike and Peggy Hayes. Christine was a graduate of North Rockland High School. Chris married the love of her life, James Rodriguez Sr., on March 27, 1982, and they raised their three children. She was a member of the Haverstraw Elks #877 Ladies Auxiliary and faithfully volunteered for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for over 20 years. Chris was known for being a kind and compassionate person who was always helping others. She cared deeply for her family, her friends and her poodles. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Christine is survived by her beloved husband James Sr., her sons James Jr. (Virginia Tancioco) and Vincent; her mother, Peggy Hayes; her brother Stephen Hayes; her sisters Lynn Hayes (Joe Burkert); and Mary Bosworth (Jack), and her stepmother Mary Hayes and her beloved grandchildren Chase and Newborn Christian Rodriguez who was named in honor of Christine. Also, many brother and sister-In-Laws and her many precious nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beautiful daughter Brianna, her father Mike Hayes and her sisters Judith and Ann. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 PM at George M Holt Funeral Home Inc, 50 New Main Street, Haverstraw, NY. A Catholic Mass celebrating Christine's life will be celebrated 10:00 AM on Friday, November 5, 2021 at St Peter's & St. Mary's Church, 115 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 1480 U.S. 9, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095 or Breast Cancer Foundation Rockland Co. Chapter P.O. Box 405, La Grangeville, NY 12540.
