It is with love and heartbreak that we announce that Brian Robinson passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025. Brian was born on April 11, 1960 and spent most of his childhood in Spring Valley, NY. He attended Ramapo High School and was a proud Gryphon. A natural athlete, he never encountered a competitive sport he wouldn't play to win. As the recipient of many broken bones in the pursuit of greatness, Brian was legendary for his ability to play on despite the pain, thus contributing greatly to his beloved mother's anxiety. In 2024, he was inducted into the Ramapo High School Hall of Fame, along with the 1978 Varsity Baseball Team. Brian met his wife of 34 years, his "wuddy the rabbit," Cheryl (Conklin) Robinson, after they wished on the same star to guide them to their soulmates. This is arguably the best thing to happen to him. The birth of their daughter, Brianna, is the second best. Brian was and always will be his daughter's hero and she will always be his little girl. They shared a love for many things, including the Yankees, bowling, and anything chocolate. She will always love him more, to which he would say, even now, "not possible." Brian's charisma and kindness led him to be the recipient of many loving animal attentions, including his first dog, a poodle, Georgette, who was utterly in love with him, and two dachshunds, Sammy and Lila, who were his absolute joys in life. Brian was a man of many talents-he could predict a scratch off was a winner just by holding it in his hands, he made a mean cup of tea for his wife and daughter, and he always stood up for the underdog. He also made friends everywhere he went, including his neighbors and friends Patti, Nancy, Merryl, Jo, Syretta, Lori, and Alexis. Brian is predeceased by his father (Robert Robinson), mother (Mary Robinson) and sister (Mary Ellen Robinson). He is survived by his loving sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Roxanne and Stephen Altomonte and Brenda and Joe Mone; nephews: Michael Bauer, Michael (Crystal) Mone, Matthew (Amanda) Mone, Max (Emily) Mone, nieces: Erika (Joshua) Presler, Melissa (Jesse) Malowitz and Michelle (Colin) Moriarity; and three grand-nieces, Lilliana Presler, Arabella Moriarty and Noelle Moriarity. He is also survived by cousins, including Patty (Michael) Imbaratto, and loyal friends who supported him through everything, including lifelong friends: Steve Karvellas, Tony Russo, Stew Krell, Rocco Velardi, Tommy Petito, Tony Lauro, John Pagliaroli, George Scifo, Steve and Gina Proscia, and "the boys." Aside from being wherever his family was, Brian's favorite place was the Jersey Shore. He spent many summers in Island Beach with his shore family. If he wasn't diving off a roof into the pool, he was winning boardwalk games with his daughter. A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM on, Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Pomona Park Club House in Pomona, NY. All are welcome as Brian deserves a Yankee stadium size crowd to honor his strength and fight, share love and memories, and have a piece of pizza or slice of cheesecake and raise a toast in his honor. In memory of Brian, please consider donating to the wonderful group at The Joe Raso Hospice Residence, 415 Buena Vista Road, New City, NY 10956, and United Hospice of Rockland,11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956, who showed us grace and kindness during our most difficult hours. Brian, we hope you're enjoying your mom's meatballs and chicken parm with Georgette by your side and sharing a laugh with your dad and sister. We'll meet again one day. Thank you for loving us with your whole heart and giving everything your all. We're grateful for your immense and unwavering loyalty, and to have loved you and been loved by you in return. We love you more.
