Christine Sabo Obituary
A graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School, Norristown, Chris worked as a bookkeeper at Masters Etching and Bisinger & Stein.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Sabo; companion, Howard E. Kollar; and daughter, Deborah Tretter. She was also predeceased by a brother, James A. Burt and sister, Rita M. Burt.
Chris is survived by a daughter, Tammy Jo Coulton and son-in-law, Steve of Ottsville; sisters, Catherine Huie (Glenn), Libbi Bernard (The late, John), Celine Shelley, Patricia Doles (The late, Andrew), Jane Pizarro (Miguel); and brothers, John (Linda), Joseph (Jill) and Edward (MaryBeth) Burt. She will also be sadly missed by many, including numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Chris will be remembered for her love of animals; mostly big dogs of which she had many over the years. She looked forward to baseball season every year to cheer on the Phillies. She was an avid reader of murder mysteries and loved going to the casinos. She spent endless hours playing scrabble and rummikub and enjoyed bingo, cards and board games.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Rd, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
