Christine C. Wittern

Christine C. (Thomek) Wittern, 80, of Milford, passed away November 21, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Rolf Wittern. She was born in Augsburg, Germany daughter of the late Heinrich and Veronica (Jehle) Thomek and came to the United States in 1963 with her husband Rolf. They lived in Bellmore and Freeport, NY and Bennington, VT and then moved to Milford in 1978.
She was employed at the Milford Public school as a cafeteria worker for many years. She was a communicant of the St. Mary of the Assumption church and a member of the Ashland Senior Center's Parkinson's Group.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Rolf H. Wittern and Lydia Timbro both of Middletown CT, one brother Heinz Thomek of Germany, two sisters Mina Vogel of Ft. Atkinson WI, Elizabeth Tittel of Germany, two grandsons Eric Timbro and Andrew Timbro.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 9 to 11 A.M. followed by a funeral home service at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA.
