Christoper Jarrett Nix

Christopher "Jarrett" Nix, age 27, of Shelbyville, passed away on October 14, 2025.
Jarrett lived life with a deep and unwavering passion for the University of Tennessee Volunteers. Known for his unmistakable enthusiasm, he could always be found where football was being played. His spirited cheers, heartfelt shouts, and emotional reactions to every play for both the Volunteers and the Tennessee Titans will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Jarrett found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved music, the power and freedom of a big truck, and took great pride in the honest work of cow hauling. He also enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family, friends, and his beloved dog.
Jarrett is survived by the love of his life, Anna Boulton; his parents, Thomas and Lori Nix; his brother, Landon Nix (Daisy Bondurant); Grandmother Wanda Nix; and his uncles and aunts, Janice Pope (Charles Pope), Harold Ray Nix, Tammy Nix, and Ronald Nix.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas H. Nix; great-grandparents Paul and Florine Nix; Grandmother Donna Clanton; and great-grandparents Sam and Mattie Lou Clanton.
Jarrett's vibrant spirit, loyal heart, and love for those around him will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Visitation will be held at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Burns Cemetery in Rockvale.
