CANFIELD - Christopher P. "Chris" Aczel, 51, passed away Tuesday morning, March 14, 2023, at Hospice House following a courageous battle with cancer.
Christopher was born December 11, 1971, in Youngstown, a son of Charles and Catherine Bacho Aczel, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a graduate of Boardman High School and was the owner and operator of Aczel Rose Landscaping for several years.
Chris loved nature, being outdoors and at the beach. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and collecting nature related artifacts and crystal figurines.
Chris leaves to cherish his memory his son, Braden V. Aczel of Canfield; his mother, Catherine Aczel of Canfield; a brother, Chuck (Gail) Aczel of Canfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and extended family members and many wonderful friends. Chris also leaves his beloved canine companion, Stella.
Family and friends may gather from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Holy Apostles Parish, Sts. Peter and Paul Church 421 Covington St., Youngstown, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, Chris' family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
