Christopher Adams Obituary
Chris was born June 3, 1970, in Clinton, North Carolina, where he is remembered by many high school friends.
Chris is survived by his partner, Wesley Ammerman of Raleigh; his mother, Lynn Adams of Garner; his brother, Mitchell "Mitch" Carpenter of Raleigh; his beloved niece, Ella Carpenter and nephew, Jackson Carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles A. Adams; his grandparents, Harrell and Jean Carpenter, and Joe and Myrtle Adams.
Chris received his bachelor's degree in 1992 from UNC Chapel Hill, receiving his law degree from Campbell University School of Law in 1997. He was a self-employed attorney.
Chris was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Clinton, NC.
Chris' love for the Carolina Ballet was known by all. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carolina Ballet, 3030 Stony Brook Drive, Raleigh, NC 27604, in his memory.
A Celebration of Chris's Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 23, 2023, in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, NC 27604. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.

I remember Chris well at many Carolina Ballet performances over the years. He was someone who lit up the auditorium lobby and always had a kind word for everyone. We will miss you, Chris!
