Christopher Albrecht

Christopher Albrecht, a man known for his remarkable handiness, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, at his home in Medford Lakes, NJ. He was 77 years old.
Chris' journey through life was shared with his loving wife of 41 years, Diane Albrecht (nee Bretzel). Together, they raised a family that was the center of Chris's world. He was a proud father to his daughter and son-in-law, Brianne and Kyle Sankowicz, and his son C.J. Albrecht and his fiancée Michelle Arias. His joy was multiplied with the arrival of his two grandchildren, Hannah and Ellie Sankowicz. Chris also leaves behind his nephew Fredrick Johnson, Jr. (Barb), and his beloved cat Buttercup, who was always by his side.
He was a parishioner at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church in Medford, NJ, and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary of the Lakes Council 6520.
Chris was a man of many talents, often referred to as MacGyver for his uncanny ability to fix anything that came his way. His love for tinkering was matched only by his passion for woodworking, where he crafted not just objects but also moments of joy for those around him. His hands were rarely still, always working on a project or lending a hand to someone in need.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
