Obituary published on Legacy.com by Chapel Hill Mortuary & Memorial Gardens - Cedar Hill on Jan. 9, 2024.
Allen, Christopher Robert Arthur, of
House Springs, Missouri, was born January 9, 2003 in
Bloomington, Indiana. Chris left us on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Chris has touched so many lives in his brief time here. He left behind a big family as well as an entire community who loved him. Chris was fiercely loyal, competitive, and loved his family and friends with a fierceness you cannot imagine. This is one of the reasons he chose to become a United States Marine. He took his commitments as a Marine and as a security officer very seriously. Enough so that Chris was recently chosen as the employee of the year for Lingle Protective Services. Chris was a year-round athlete. Whether it was wrestling, cross country, or track, he gave everything he had and continually tried to improve himself and help his teammates do the same. He was a mentor, wrestling coach, friend, and was always there to help anyone who needed him. He was attending school to become a history teacher. He planned on teaching in the Northwest system and helping continue the Lion wrestling legacy.
It took a village to raise Chris. We are eternally grateful for this village and the impact you had not only on him, but us as well. You are our family.
His village includes his mom's Tonya and Ranette Allen. His biological's, Trina Branam and Nathan Arthur.
Siblings both chosen and blood include:
Audrey Frost with Logan, Ava, and Aria
Ashley Bartels with Josh and Jaxson
Alexis Donnelly with Jeff and Hunter
Cameron Benton, Sadie Hefflinger, Harley Widner, Michael Williams, and Anthony Turner.
Abby Chandler and Luke Meier
Mother Figures:
Michelle Meier, Rachelle Livingston, Kim Stout, and Jenn Garofaro.
Father Figures:
Bob and Ron Wilhelm, Darin Meier, Doug Dunnegan, Heith Chandler, Von Gross, Bobby Brooks, Ken Campbell, Dave Stout, Ryan Stark, and countless other coaches and wrestling dads.
Extended Family:
Beth Zaragoza, Melissa Rulo, Joshua Dobbs, Patrick Donnelly, Kelly Nash, Charlie Berge, Danny O'Callaghan, and Erma Heath.
Chris was touched by and touched so many lives that it is impossible to recognize everyone. Just know that we thank each and every one of you for loving our son. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
