Christopher A. Bailey

Christopher A. Bailey of Holland, PA passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 24, 2026. He was 84 years old. He was born in Philadelphia in 1941 to the late Cleveland and Camille Bailey (Villy).

Chris graduated from Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, PA. After graduation, he went to work as an accountant for the jewelry manufacturing firm Byard F. Brogan, Inc. where he worked for 58 years. Chris also served his country as a member of the United States Army Reserve.

A die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, Chris bled Phillies red. His love for the game translated into 15 years of coaching Little League, where he became a favorite mentor to countless kids, including his two sons. He didn't just teach kids how to swing a bat; he taught them about sportsmanship, resilience, and how to have a laugh even when the scoreboard wasn't in their favor.

Chris was a formidable bowler, a passion that culminated in the ultimate achievement: a perfect 300 game. He also enjoyed golfing with his friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Ruth Bailey (Kapolka); two loving sons, Scott Bailey and his partner Cheryl Noskow, and Timothy Bailey and his wife Felicia; his late sister, Barbara "Bunni" Maholick; five grandchildren, Megan, Daniel, Skylar, Caitlin "CC," and Austin.

Family and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, February 6th from 10am-12pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA. A funeral service will follow. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Richboro, PA.
