Brian A. Torpey

Brian A. Torpey, of Telford, passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 64.

Born in Philadelphia, Brian was the beloved son of the late Lawrence and Loretta Torpey. A hardworking and determined man, he was self-employed as an independent drywall finishing contractor. In 1992, Brian founded BAT Finishes, a business he proudly operated for more than three decades, continuing his work until shortly before his passing.

Brian is survived by his devoted fiancée of 23 years, Shannon Mata. He also leaves behind his beloved children, Melissa, Ashley, and Marcos, and his cherished grandchildren, Luna, Adriana, and Rio, who brought him great joy.

He is also survived by his loving sister, Janice Kerr (James), as well as many nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his brother, Michael.

Brian had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He was a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, loved trips to Wildwood, and enjoyed boating and fishing whenever he could. Some of his happiest moments were spent taking his dog, Tank, to Lake Nockamixon, watching him run freely and chase ducks, or heading out to enjoy a good breakfast with loved ones.

Brian will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for family, and the quiet joy he found in everyday moments. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954 (corner of Holland Road), from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 12:00 p.m.
