Lorraine had a passion for art, traveling, and a soft spot for her beloved pets. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she served the community at Shop Rite for many years as a cashier. Lorraine will be remembered for her sharp wit and New York resilience.
Lorraine is predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Downs, Sr. and her son Michael J. Downs, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine M. Tabackin and her husband, Scott H. Tabackin of Newtown, PA, along with her two grandchildren, William J. Reece III and Zara R. Tabackin.
Family and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, February 17th from 10:00 am until her Funeral Mass at 12pm at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Lorraine's name to the ASPCA at https://secure.ASPCA.org.
