Ronald Dale Bitner

Ronald Dale Bitner, age 91, of Yardley, Pa., passed away on Thursday February 5, 2026 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Lower Makefield Township. Born in Milford, Pa., he was a longtime resident of Lower Bucks County. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Bitner was a teacher at Neshaminy Middle School for many years until he retired in 1990. He enjoyed gardening, wood working, traveling and was a history buff. He enjoyed collecting Piggy Banks and had over 100 in his collection. Son of the late Lucy (Walton) and Stanley Bitner, grandfather of the late Robert Barrick, Jr., he is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Rita C. (DeFusco) Bitner, his daughter Ronna M. (Edward) Ort, and his grandchildren James Barrick and Robbin Blasdell. Family and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration on Monday February 23, 2026 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. John The Evangelist Church 752 Big Oak Rd. Yardley, Pa. 19067, where his Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 Am. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
