Christopher James Barrett (November 30, 1975 – December 17, 2025)
Christopher James Barrett passed peacefully on December 17, 2025. He was born November 30, 1975, to Paul and Diane (Hay) Barrett in Dover, NJ. His brother Jeremy followed 17 months later.
Chris attended Dover elementary schools and graduated from Mountain Lakes High School in 1994. He finished his schooling at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY to continue his love of cooking.
Chris met the love of his life, Suzanne (Reck) Barrett in 2001 and they wed on July 31, 2004. Their sons, Dylan and Carter, were born in 2009 and 2011.
Anyone who spoke with Chris knew about his love for six things, his family, Star Wars, the Tennessee Vols, the NY Rangers, the NY Giants, and of course, the Amazin' Mets. He worked for the Town of Dover for 22 years. Chris took great pride in his two sons. You could always find him on the sidelines of his sons' baseball, basketball, lacrosse, and football games.
Chris is predeceased by his father and his brother. He leaves behind his loving wife of 21 years, two sons, mother, in-laws, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. He will be remembered forever as the biggest Keith Hernandez fan, always our #17.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 2pm-6pm, with a Funeral Service to begin at 5:30pm located at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10 West, Randolph, NJ 07869.
