He was born in Charleston to Tony Bays and Betty Higley Ghazi.
His is survived by his mother Betty Ghazi of St Albans; his son, Joshua Gillispie (Cheridan) of St. Albans; brother, Jason Bays of Charleston; and grandchildren, Raelynn, Casey, Maverick.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
