Christopher P. "Chris" Belcore

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher P. "Chris" Belcore, age 76, on Friday, January 25, 2025, at his home in Dacula, GA. Born on December 16, 1948, in New York, NY, Chris lived a life rich in friendship and family, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
Chris enjoyed a successful career in the finance and insurance industry, having owned his own insurance business, from which he retired after many dedicated years of service. A man of quick wit and unyielding honesty, he was known for speaking his mind and sharing a hearty laugh with everyone around him. His engaging personality attracted many friends, and he cherished the fellowship he shared with his golf buddies and tennis partners, even reaching near-pro levels in tennis.
Preceding Chris in death was his parents, Lionel and Patricia Belcore; former wife, Suzanne Belcore. Chris was a devoted father to his daughter, Kimberly Babcock. He took immense joy in being a grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, McKenzie, Sydney, as well as a great-grandfather to Lilith Babcock, Milani Jackson, and Lucas Babcock. He nurtured these relationships with love, ensuring that each family member knew the depth of his affection.
In his personal life, Chris shared a beautiful and fulfilling commitment with his life partner, Carrie Wade, for 15 wonderful years. Their partnership was a testament to the love and commitment that defined Chris's life.
To honor Chris's memory, a funeral service will be held on January 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by burial at Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will gather on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Chris's strong spirit and joyful presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In the hearts of his family and friends, his memory will continue to shine brightly.
