Loris..... Christopher Lester Bell, age 44, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
Mr. Bell was born in Conway, a son of Katie L. Bell and the late Lester Bell. Mr. Bell was predeceased by a brother, Harry "Terry" Bell. Chris was known for his soft gentle heart and big smiles. He loved his children, family and friends. He grew up working in tobacco with his family and had various jobs in Myrtle Beach, including working at Stock Building Supply with his dad. He last worked with Heritage Hauling in Conway and was a member of Bayboro Baptist Church. Mr. Bell enjoyed woodworking with his dad and riding motorcycles and fourwheelers with his siblings. He loved fishing and boating with his kids and the last couple of years riding his golfcart on the farm visiting with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Loris are: his children, Carly Bell and Lester Bell of Loris; two step children, Anna Cox (Nathan) and Blake Kleespie, all of Loris; two sisters, Stefanie Bell of Raleigh, NC and Wendy Glenn (Dr. Daran Glenn) of Manakin- Sabot, Virginia; and two nieces, Chloe Glenn and Bella Glenn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Rev. Paul Alford and Rev. Mack Hutson officiating. Burial will follow in Zoan United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7: 00 PM Friday.
