Christopher Blackmore Obituary
He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Blackmore; sister, Cindy McPhail; and granddaughter, Kiera Cook.
He is survived by his spouse, Deborah Hogue; daughter, LaRhonda Lollar (Steven) of Northport, AL; sons, Jeremy Daniels (Jenny) Kansas City, KS, Shay Cook, Dennis Cook, and Brandon Cook (Veronica); brother, Joe Blackmore of Kansas City, KS; mother, Shannon Blackmore; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Chris loved spending time with friends and family. He loved all of his grandchildren and spending time with them. He enjoyed his trade of roofing for 35 years. He loved hunting and fishing in his free time. Chris never hesitated to lend a helping hand when needed. Chris is very loved and will be greatly missed by us all. We will have a celebration of life at a later date.
Honorary mentions to the Palliative Care Team and Dr. John Miller at DCH, Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center staff and doctors, Amedisys Home Health and Hospice, along with Hospice of West Alabama staff and doctors.
