Christopher Wayne "Chris" Carnes, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. He was born on September 29, 1978, in Duluth, Georgia, the son of Florence Kenny Danielsen and the late Harold Grady Carnes, Sr..
Chris woke up every day excited about life and made each and every day special. He was a proud Class of 1998 Lithia Springs High School graduate. Chris considered his brother Ricky his very best friend and together they were a force to be reckoned with! He was a creative thinker who would put those thoughts into action by making craft projects for the holidays and church events. Chris was a faithful member of the Carrollton Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Grady Carnes, Sr. and an infant sister, Marilyn Elizabeth Carnes.
In addition to his mother, Chris leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters, Betty Nell Sanders and Belinda Gail Valcarcel; brothers, Harold Grady Carnes, Jr. and Richard "Ricky" Alexander Carnes; and a host of extended family members.
In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated.
