Christopher "Chris" M. Carr, age 51 of Dayton, Ohio passed away with his family by his side on June 27, 2025. He was born November 9, 1973 in Dayton, Ohio son of James Carr and Joyce Fugate.
Chris was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a 1993 class graduate of Northridge High School. He was employed with Five Star Home Services of Dayton. Chris had a passion for fishing and everything KISS music. His pride and joy was his family, most importantly his granddaughter, Lily. Chris will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lee and Katherine Fugate; and paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Carrie Carr.
He is survived by his sons, Johnathan Carr and Dalton Sauer; granddaughter, Lily Sauer; mother, Joyce Fugate; father, James Carr; siblings, Matthew Carr and Jennifer Carr; nieces and nephews, Austin (Taylor) Carr, Kelci Carr, Madison Carr; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 12pm-1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A private burial will follow.
Memorial contributions can be made in Chris's honor to the American Cancer Society.
