Christopher “Chris” McCutchen, 54, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 8th, 2026.
He was born on November 27th, 1971 in Indianapolis to Bobby Gene McCutchen and Geraldine Marie Eversole McCutchen. He worked for Republic Services for almost 25 years as a mechanic and later was promoted to mechanic supervisor.
Chris is survived by his wife, Julie McCutchen, daughter Cora Strawn (Austin), stepdaughters, Lindsay Wechsler (Brandon), Kaitlynn Bohanon, Shelby Bohanon, and Brittany Penni (Peter), 11 grandchildren, and his sister Sherry Robertson (Randy). He was preceded in death by his parents.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing the guitar and drums. He was a man of strong faith that loved his family very much.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 11:30 am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a service to start at 11:30 am. Chris’s final resting place will be at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
