Christopher "Chris" Joe Pilkinton

McKinney, Texas - Christopher Pilkinton, lovingly known as Chris, passed away peacefully at his home on September 12, 2023, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on June 6, 1978, in McKinney and was the beloved owner of Born Again Fencing, He was a custom fence builder.

Chris was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of those around him with his infectious laughter and kind-hearted nature. He had a knack for bringing joy to others through his humorous antics. Chris will be remembered for his ability to go to great lengths to make people laugh. Whether it was through silly pranks or cracking jokes, he had an unmatched talent for brightening a room with his cheerful presence.

Loved by all who knew him, Chris was deeply devoted to his faith and held a special place in his heart for the Lord. His unwavering faith served as an inspiration to many and was a testament to his strong character. Additionally, he possessed a giving spirit that knew no bounds. Always ready to lend a helping hand or offer support, Chris made a positive impact on countless lives.

Outside his professional pursuits, Chris loved and cherished his children, Tyler and Delaney.  Chris enjoyed when Delaney would make cakes and baked for him.  They all enjoyed going to the basketball court and the park.  Chris would talk about how proud he was of his niece Morgan and her talent with horses.  Chris had a passion for dirt track racing. He shared this love for racing with his nephews, Mason and Jason, and his son Tyler. Together, they formed an unbreakable bond while experiencing the thrill of speed on the track. Racing became more than just a hobby; it became an integral part of Chris's life that brought him immense joy and fulfillment.  The laughter they shared created everlasting memories that will be cherished by all.

Mother, Debra Kay Lambert and husband Jarrett Lambert; father, Michael Anthony Pilkinton and wife Karen Pilkinton; son, Tyler Pilkinton; daughter, Delaney Pilkinton; stepdaughter, Kayeleigh Lawson; granddaughter, Karsyn Gully; sisters, Crystal Hughes and husband Sean Hughes, and Samantha Knight; nephews, Mason Crawford, and Jason Webb; nieces,  Morgan Hughes, and Brynleigh Knight; significant other, Lori Pilkinton.

Preceded in death by:

Son, Peyton Pilkinton; grandfathers Gerald Fisher, and Kenneth Pilkinton; grandmothers, Treva Fisher, and Frances Pilkinton.

The “Pit Crew” carrying Chris is Tyler Pilkinton, Mason Crawford, Jason Webb, Bryan Vanhorn, Roy Harpole Jr., Billy Pilkinton.
