Christopher Mark Collett, born on June 7, 1972, in Clarksville, Indiana, peacefully departed from this world on December 31, 2025, in Hyden, Kentucky. He was 53 years old. Known for his gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to his family and friends, Christopher led a life characterized by warmth and creativity.
Christopher devoted many years of his professional life to serving as a Security Guard, where his reliability and calm demeanor made a lasting impact on his colleagues and those he protected. He approached his work with the same passion he showed in all aspects of life.
An avid lover of music, Christopher found joy in singing and playing guitar, often sharing these talents with those close to him. His love for the great outdoors was evident in his pursuits of ginsenging, hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to nurture his appreciation for nature. Christopher was also a dedicated NASCAR fan, cheering on his favorite drivers with enthusiasm and zest.
He is survived by his beloved father, Alvin Collett, and his wife, Pansy; his bonus father, James T.R. Hacker; mother of children, Anita Maggard, his son, Bradley Collett.; and his daughter, Hannah Robinson (Blake). Christopher leaves behind his brothers, Daniel Collett (Julie) and Tim Hacker (Catherine) and Travis Brad Hacker. He is also survived by his sisters, Serena Collett, April Nichelle Collett, and Katrina Short (Tim) , who will forever cherish their memories with him, nephews, Brody Kenseth Collett, Nicholas Brock, Trey Short, Keenan Hacker and Cullen Hacker and nieces, Anabelle Collett, Katie Brock, Emma Hacker, Tyra Short and special niece, Hadley Maggard and great niece, Sadie Hacker.
Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Fee Hacker, and his maternal grandparents, Bradley and Thelma Fee. He was also preceded by his paternal grandparents, Bentley and Nancy Collett, as well as uncles, France Collett & James Fee, aunts, Betty Saylor & Ruth Brock, and cousin, Brian Fee.
In his passing, Christopher Mark Collett leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. His spirit will undoubtedly live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his journey.
Funeral: Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Roark Pentecostal Church at Roark, KY
Interment: Hacker Family Cemetery, Stinnett, KY.
Officiating Clergy: Ralph Brown and Ben Mosley
Pallbearers: Bradley Collett, Brody Collett, Nicholas Brock, Trey Wilson, Billy Garrison, Daniel Collett, Blake Robinson and Kevin Maggard
Visitation: Monday, January 5, 2026 at 5:00 P.M.-12:00 at the Church
