Christopher William Collins, known to all as Chris or even Big Bird, with a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that was downright contagious, embarked on his final adventure on September 8, 2025. Born on December 12, 1969, in the sunny state of California, Chris carried that warmth throughout his 55 years, spreading it generously wherever he went, until his final days in Missouri.

Chris, a man who never needed a script to be the life of the party, faced life head-on with a spirit that even cancer could never diminish. His family, a cast of characters who shared his sense of humor and zest for life, includes his beloved sister Aleta Henry; his sons, Christopher and Jordan, who inherited his quick wit; and his daughters, Tori Collins and Serinitee Goodin.

A self-made man with a GED that he wielded like a diploma from the school of hard knocks, Chris carved out a life that was uniquely his own. A self-employed jack-of-all-trades, he approached his work with the same passion and enthusiasm he had for a good punchline. His clients often said that doing business with Chris was like having a stand-up show -free of charge.

When he wasn't cracking jokes, Chris could be found on the basketball court, where his competitive streak and sportsmanship shone through. But even there, it was his humor that scored the most points. Above all, Chris was a family man, and his children were the highlights of his life. He taught them the importance of laughter, love, and never taking oneself too seriously.

Chris was a man of many words-funny, spirited, passionate-and he lived each one to the fullest. As a comedian at heart, he knew that timing was everything, and while his final curtain call may have come too soon, the stories of his life will continue to be told with laughter and love.

So, as we bid farewell to Christopher William Collins, let's honor his memory by living as he did-with a joke on our lips, love in our hearts, and the courage to be the star of our own show. Chris, you may have left the stage, but your encore will resonate forever.
