Christopher Cook Obituary

Christopher Parra Cook

2007 ~ 2025

- Our beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend Christopher Parra Cook passed away on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025. Words cannot express how much we love and cherish Chris. How blessed we have been to have had him in our lives for his beautiful time on earth. His was a wonderful life full of integrity and obedience. He had a tender heart and a sensitive soul. Through myriad small and simple acts of kindness and thoughtfulness, he brought unspeakable joy to his family and friends. He enjoyed his role of a stripling warrior in the Book of Mormon videos produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints which he loved. He loved each of his teammates and coaches on the Lone Peak tennis team. Their camaraderie and life lessons were a cherished highlight of his high school years. Blessed with a wonderfully keen mind and intellect, a love of music, cooking, athletics, and above all his friends and family, Chris blessed the lives of all he came in contact with. His best buddies were the light of his life, so much so that he almost considered them family. He rejoiced in and celebrated his friends' and teammates' mission calls. His younger sisters, Allison and Melanie looked up to him as he set a good example for them and taught them many life lessons in his own unique and wryly humorous way. How we will miss dear Chris until we embrace him again in the morning of the first resurrection. Christopher is survived by his parents Melvin and Amalia Cook and his sisters Allison and Melanie.
