Samuel William Dahlgren, 25, was born on the way to the hospital in American Fork, Utah, to Scott Steven Dahlgren and Paula Lynn Dahlgren. He graduated from Lone Peak High School in 2018, and was pursuing a Computer Science degree at Utah State University. Sam was a blessing and a joy to everyone who knew him. He had a great love for classical music, films, books, and vintage video games. He had exceptional creative talent in creating art, music and video games. He was intelligent, a terrific chess player and excelled in anything competitive. He loved camping, the outdoors, and exploring the mountains of Utah. There are few words to describe the depth of his loss in our lives, and he will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.
Sam is survived by his parents, Scott and Paula, and his brothers and sisters, Jacob and his wife Rebecca, Kathryn, Abraham, Abigail and her husband Andrew Perkins, Christian, and Madeline. He is also survived by grandparents, Delmar and Mary Potter and his nieces and nephews, Liam, Rowan, Elika and Eve. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 18th at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 910 High Bench Road, Alpine, Utah 84004. Gathering with the family of the deceased will be held at the same location from 10:30-11:00 AM.

Dahlgren Family,
There are no words or sentences that I could ever write that would make what you are going thru make sense. Our hearts are broken, and we just want you to know that your family is in our prayers and thoughts. I wished I could say something profound that would help you make sense of this--but nothing I can say will. Except we love you, all of you, and your family means a great deal to the people in Alpine. I want you to know that I know families are forever and that Sam lives. I can't make sense of the sadness you must feel--but so many people love you and pray for your family at this time. I love your family...
