Christopher Charles Costello

Christopher Charles Costello, 44, passed away on February 4th, 2026, at his home after a short illness. He was an amazing son, father, brother and loved giving to others. He cherished the time he spent at the gym, participating in MMA both personally and through founding an anti-bullying program. He loved to cook not just as a career, but also for friends, family, and any loved ones.

He was a lifelong lover of motorcycles and enjoyed continuing the family tradition of spending his time riding. Chris was always telling stories and always wanted to go onstage to do comedy. Matt loved his brother and they have a bond that will never be broken, he was his mother's pride and joy, and he loved his son, Devlin, who was the light of his life.

He is survived by his mother Gail Gray-Call (Jeffrey), his son Devlin Costello, his brothers; Matthew Costello (Cherlyn), Jeffrey Call Jr, his sister Vickie Dempsey (Marty). Along with his aunt Jean Gray-White (Steve), and uncles John Gray (DeEtte), Robert Costello, and Charles Hoffman, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Joseph Costello, his uncles; Walter Costello, Richard Costello and Cliff Gray, along with his aunt Patty Hoffman.

Family and friends are invited to Christopher's celebration of life on February 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Colington Clubhouse, 1000 Colington Dr, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948.
