Christopher Shawn Davis, 53, of Conway, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025. He was born in Blytheville, on July 6, 1971. Chris was a beloved husband to Tina for 29 years. They shared a lifetime of making memories and traveling the world together. They grew up together in church and had a special friendship until they both finally realized God had much larger plans for their lives. He was a devoted father to their children, Collin Davis (Shelby), Autumn Davis and Zach Shuck. Chris was a member of City Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. He was devoted to God and over the past few years became a true disciple of His word and wanted to share this with everyone he could. He was very strong in his belief, and he believed in God's Plan (Isaiah 55:8-9). Chris worked for Hank's Furniture for 14 years and then started his own business as an insurance agent at ACT Insurance (named after his family-Autumn, Collin & Tina). He was known for his compassion to his clients and dedication to his work. Chris could sell anything to anyone and had a gift with his words. He enjoyed hunting with Collin and attending Razorback games with Autumn and other family and friends. You could always find him surrounded by his family and friends, who will miss his jokes and sense of humor. He was often found in his shop tinkering with something or building something or modifying his golf cart to be the fastest in the neighborhood. Surviving is his wife, Tina Dawn Elder Davis; his children, Collin, Autumn and Zach; his favorite daughter-in-law, Shelby Ray Davis; his built-in next-door daughter, Kinleigh Grace "Davis" Johnson, and his grandchildren, Khloe and Addie Shuck. Chris is also survived by his parents, Don and Kathy Davis; siblings, Donna (Charles) Fincher, Mike (Teresa) Davis, Shelia (Scott) Edwards, Sherri (David) Larkin and Renita (Gary) Sprouse; mother-in-law, Karline Elder and brothers-in-law, Ben Elder and Dan (Katrina) Elder. Chris has 10 nieces, 15 nephews, 7 great nieces and 10 great nephews that survive him as well and another two great nieces on the way and one great nephew on the way. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bennie Elder, his grandparents and special uncle, Father Ernie Hardesty. Pallbearers for his service will be his best friends that he lovingly called his "framily", Lee Burrow, Keller Johnson, Joey Cook, Scott Taylor, Joey Brown, and Erik Sward. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 pm at City Church, 1832 Robinson Avenue, Conway, AR. Entombment will be private for family only after the service. The visitation will be held at 11:00 am prior to the service at City Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to City Church Building Fund in memory of Chris Davis or to St. Joseph Endowment in Conway to the Class of 2016 or Class of 2020 in honor of his children, Collin and Autumn. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Funeral Homes, Jacksonville (501) 982-2136 and Cabot (501) 843-5816.
