Christopher Ryan Doerner, 20, of Oakland City, Indiana, passed away on September 9, 2025, from a motor vehicle accident. Christopher was born in Jasper, Indiana on November 10, 2004, to Christopher Joseph Doerner and Jacki (Cannon) Doerner.

Christopher was a graduate from Wood Memorial High School class of 2023 and a member of the Laborers Local 561. He enjoyed golfing, sports, fishing and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Jacki Doerner; his siblings, Tori Doerner, Spencer (Shelby Sisk) Cannon, and Elisha Seger; his nephew and niece, Apollo and Abrye Doerner; his grandparents, Brett and Debbie (Manning) Doerner, Vicki Brochin and Darvin Cannon; his aunts and uncles, Brittney (Ben) Overfield, Brooke (Kaleb) Nossett and Colton Doerner; his great Mamaw, Pansy (French) Manning; his great aunts and uncles, Steve (Kathy) Manning, Vickie (Rick) Hutchinson, Wayne (Leslie) Manning, Mike Doerner, Lana Schmett, Terry Cockerham, Kendall (Tim) Corn, Rickie Clark, Ron Green, and Pam Doerner; his first cousins, Weston, Wyatt and Bella Overfield, Owen, Gunner and Kimber Nossett, Raelyn and River Doerner; and many other cousins and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Chris J. Doerner; his great grandparents, James Manning, Ron and Darlene Doerner, Odell and Shelia Cockerham; great uncles and aunt, Keith Manning, Mark Doerner, and Sherry Green.

A visitation will take place at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel on Saturday September 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The service will start at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Townsley Cemetery in Mackey, Indiana. Pastor Darin Nossett will officiate.
