ARTHUR DOERNER

DOERNER--Arthur. March 14, 1943 - August 14, 2025 We are saddened and shocked by the sudden passing of Art Doerner. He was taken from us on August 14, 2025, and was 82 years old. Art was a leader at Component Assembly Systems Inc. and helped build the business during his 58 years with the company. He was President for 20 years until he retired in 2020. Art was instrumental in building the company from a tiny 500sq ft office in New Rochelle to today's eight offices throughout the United States. He was responsible for many CAS projects including the Freedom Tower in New York, Rowes Wharf in Boston and the Ronald Reagan building in Washington DC. Art supervised the interior construction of more than five new hotels in Las Vegas and many others in Atlantic City, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Art was a proud marine and supported many organizations such as the Boy Scouts and The Ronald McDonald House. He had many friends here in the US and abroad. His favorite place to visit was Ireland and to have a Pint at Oliver St. John's Gogarty's Pub in Temple Bar, Dublin. We wish AnneMarie, her family and Art's many friends Peace, Joy and Healing in knowing Art all these years. Art's funeral services: Visitation will be held at; Ballard-Durand Funeral 2 Maple Ave, White Plains, NY 10601. Sunday, August 24th, 2025, 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Monday, August 25, 2025, 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
