Christopher "Chris" Easton Jr.

Christopher Izekiel Easton Jr., age 15, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 13, 2024. Born on July 11, 2008, he was the son of Christopher Easton Sr. and Jeanneth Hogle. Chris was a Sophomore at North Side High School in Fort Wayne. He loved sports, including basketball and football. Chris enjoyed playing video games and just hanging out with his friends. He loved dancing and was not afraid to show off his moves to his family and friends. Chris also loved to eat. Some of his favorite foods included Chinese food, orange chicken, and Hot Cheetos. Family was important to Chris, and he was a loving uncle and a great big brother. His absence from the lives of his family and friends will be felt every day. Chris's memory will stay in the hearts of all who knew and loved him forever. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Christopher (Heidi) Easton Sr, and Jeanneth Hogle; brothers, Jeremye Montgomery, Demetrius (Alena Gonzalez) Montgomery, Jesuan Childress, and Uzziah Easton; grandmothers, Teresita Hogle, Georgia Easton, and Natividad Reed; grandfather, Isaac Carlisle Sr.; several aunts and uncles; and nephew Alfonso Montgomery. Chris was preceded in death by his infant sister, Shaniya Marie Easton; grandfathers, Wallace Hogle and William Reed; and cousin, Bryson Thomas. Private services were held for Chris, and he will be laid to rest at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Hogle and Easton families.
