Lee Worthman Obituary

On the evening of August 17, Lee passed away at the age of 98. Lee was born to Howard and vera Worthman of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He graduated from North Side High School and from Barber School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lee opened Lee's Barbershop in Waynedale, Indiana where he operated his business for twenty years. He then worked for Foam Ex of Fort Wayne where he retired. Lee was a founding member of Avalon Missionary Church and later in life attended Harvester Missionary Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Worthman of 50 years. He later married Nancy Oyer-Worthman, married for 23 years. Lee is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Randy (Janna) Worthman, and daughter, Sue Ann Worthman; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Special thanks to Heritage Point of Fort Wayne Senior Living and Parkview Hospice. Services will be at Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State Street, Grabill, Indiana 46742, Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. A visitation reception will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
